Qualifications

  • Experience in the Automotive sector in a technical role is considered.
  • Electric and Hybrid vehicle qualification is advantageous.

About The Role…

We are excited to be recruiting for a Motor Vehicle Technician. This is an unrivalled opportunity to join one of the UK's fastest growing motor groups.

As a Motor Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for the service, repair, and maintenance work for our customers' vehicles, ensuring they are ready for the road ahead.

Representing a variety of manufacturers and working on a diverse range of vehicles and models, you will take pride in your work, owning your responsibilities and completing jobs to the highest standards.

Stoneacre Motor Group is leading in EV training, and we are eager to share our knowledge and expertise with you.

You will work in an industry-leading workshop equipped with state-of-the-art facilities. Through both in-house and manufacturer training, you will receive full support and development opportunities to reach your full potential and advance your career in EV Technology, contributing to making Stoneacre the Number One Motor Group.

An average day as a Motor Vehicle Technician…
  • Utilise your expanding knowledge of our manufacturer's vehicles to service, repair, and diagnose customer vehicles to an exemplary standard within our state-of-the-art workshop.
  • Work as part of a motivated team, completing all service paperwork to manufacturer and brand standards.
  • Provide accurate diagnostic reports on customer vehicles.
  • Complete relevant service documentation, including job sheets, PDIs, and service reports, in accordance with manufacturer, warranty, and dealer requirements.
  • Check the quality and level of work through diagnostic equipment and road testing upon job completion.
About You…
  • Experience working in the Automotive sector within a technical role from all backgrounds is considered.
  • Minimum qualification: Level 2 NVQ or equivalent in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to thrive in a challenging yet rewarding environment.
  • Ability to work well under pressure, with your technical skills helping you overcome challenges.
  • Electric and Hybrid vehicle qualification or certification is advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided.
  • MOT Licence is beneficial but not essential.
  • Hold a full UK driving licence.
  • We want you to love what you do – the rest will follow naturally.
