Job summary

Buxted Construction Ltd is seeking a skilled Motor Vehicle Technician/Engineer for an in-person role in West Kingsdown, Kent. You will be responsible for maintaining and repairing vehicles to ensure safety and optimal condition.

The position requires reading schematics, using power and hand tools, and applying mechanical knowledge to diagnose issues. A full UK driving licence is required; Ford experience is a plus. A work van is supplied.

Due to expansion, we are currently seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician with Ford experience to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing vehicles, ensuring they are safe and in optimal working condition.

Duties:

• Use power tools and hand tools to assemble, repair, and maintain vehicles
• Read and interpret schematics to troubleshoot vehicle issues
• Conduct equipment repairs and maintenance on a variety of vehicle types
• Utilise mechanical knowledge to diagnose and fix vehicle problems
• Use of company vehicle

Requirements:

• Proficient in using power tool and hand tools
• Ability to read and understand schematics for vehicle troubleshooting
• Skilful in assembling, repairing, and maintaining vehicles
• Possess mechanical knowledge to diagnose and resolve vehicle issues effectively
• Excellent rates of pay for the right candidate
• Full UK driving licence required.
