Job summary

Buxted Construction is seeking a skilled Motor Vehicle Technician/Engineer for an in-person role based in West Kingsdown, Kent. The successful candidate will maintain and repair vehicles, ensuring safety and optimum performance, with a focus on Ford vehicles.

We provide excellent pay for the right candidate and will supply a van for work; a full UK driving licence is required to operate company vehicles. This permanent position offers stability and opportunities within a busy civil engineering

Qualifications

• Proficient with power and hand tools for repair and maintenance.
• Ability to read schematics for diagnostics and fault finding.
• Experience diagnosing and repairing vehicles to ensure safety and performance.
• Experience with Ford vehicles is preferred.

Due to expansion, we are currently seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician with Ford experience to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing vehicles, ensuring they are safe and in optimal working condition.

Duties:

• Use power tools and hand tools to assemble, repair, and maintain vehicles
• Read and interpret schematics to troubleshoot vehicle issues
• Conduct equipment repairs and maintenance on a variety of vehicle types
• Utilise mechanical knowledge to diagnose and fix vehicle problems
• Use of company vehicle

Requirements:

• Proficient in using power tool and hand tools
• Ability to read and understand schematics for vehicle troubleshooting
