Perfect Placement UK Ltd in Uckfield is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to join a well-established, family-run independent garage. You will diagnose, repair and maintain a range of vehicles, using high-spec tools, with a Monday to Friday, no weekend work schedule.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in vehicle repairs as a Vehicle Technician.
• Broad knowledge of all vehicle types, including light commercial vehicles and minibuses.
• MOT licence is desirable but not essential.
• Ability to work efficiently and independently in a busy environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Familiarity with diagnostic tools such as Autodata and Snap-on equipment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair a broad range of vehicles, including light commercial vehicles and minibuses.
• Conduct MOT repairs and inspections for classes 4, 5, and 7.
• Maintain vehicle health through regular inspections and repairs.
• Perform general maintenance tasks adhering to manufacturer guidelines.
• Use diagnostic scanners and hand tools to identify faults and implement effective repairs.
• Support the team in ensuring smooth workshop operations and exceptional customer service.
