Job summary

Old Mill Garage Ltd in Highweek, United Kingdom, is seeking a Full-time Motor Vehicle Technician to join our team. The role covers MOTs, servicing, repairs and diagnostic work using modern tooling. You can be flexible in workload or specialise as an MOT Tester.

The position offers a competitive salary with growth potential, pension, a free MOT for your own vehicle, and opportunities for training. Normal hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00–17:00; NO WEEKENDS.

Qualifications

• Experience performing MOTs and servicing within a garage environment.
• Ability to diagnose and repair common vehicle faults.
• MOT qualification or willingness to obtain one is essential.
• Good timekeeping and strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• MOT testing when qualified; otherwise assist with MOTs.
• Carry out servicing and routine maintenance.
• Replace brakes and perform general repairs.
• Conduct diagnostic investigations and wheel alignment.
• Maintain high standards of workmanship and safety.

Motor Vehicle Technician

We are looking for someone to join our team to either share the workload of MOTs and general servicing, repairs etc or to be a full time MOT Tester, we can be flexible!

We have great facilities to accommodate MOT classes 4,5 & 7. Here at Old Mill Garage you can work with the latest tooling with no fear or lack of reinvestment from your employer! The garage has been established since 1993 and has a good solid local reputation.

What we offer:

Great rates of pay offered, yearly salary starting from £37,000 and ranging up to and over £45,000 depending on mechanical/diagnsotic abilities and testing class qualification (class 5) open to negotiation
