Job summary

Orbital South Colleges Group is seeking a passionate Motor Vehicle Lecturer to join the Technology department at East Surrey College (Redhill). You will deliver teaching across Level 1 & 2 City & Guilds and Level 3 BTEC, covering Motor Vehicle Service, including PHEV, EV, MOT, Air Conditioning and Repair.

The role involves preparing and delivering courses, acting as a personal tutor, promoting attendance, and arranging work placements.

Qualifications

• Level 3 or above in Motor Vehicle related discipline.
• GCSE English and Maths (C/4+) required.
• Minimum Level 3 Teaching qualification or commitment to work towards.
• Minimum 3 years industry experience.
• Up-to-date industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Teach across Level 1 & 2 City & Guilds and Level 3 BTEC in Motor Vehicle.
• Prepare and teach Motor Vehicle Service courses including PHEV, EV, MOT, Air Conditioning and Repair.
• Act as a personal tutor, provide pastoral care and promote attendance.
• Support students to attain work placements and participate in team meetings.
• Contribute to planning, development and review activities within the subject area.
