Our client is a main car dealership looking to recruit an experienced Parts Advisor to join their team.

Location – Bishop’s Stortford

Salary yet to be disclosed

OTE – Up to £30,000

Hours – Mon to Fri 8am to 5pm or 8.30am to 5.30pm and alternative Saturdays 8.30am to 12.30pm

Parts Advisor Role:

  • Handle sales of parts to the public and trade by telephone, fax, and in person at the Retail/Trade Counter, ensuring customer satisfaction and operating departmental procedures to a high standard.
  • Supply parts as requested to the Service Department.
  • Raise and maintain accurate records as per company procedures.
  • Inspect parts in front of customers as per company procedures.
  • Inspect incoming goods against documentation, reporting discrepancies.
  • Place incoming stock in correct binning locations.
  • Pick customer orders and place them in the correct area with relevant documentation.
  • Report and record stock discrepancies or damages.
  • Operate computers and machinery according to procedures and instructions.
  • Support and implement the company's Quality System and follow procedures.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the customer area and warehouse.
  • Maintain a neat personal appearance.
  • Observe health, safety, and fire regulations.
