Job summary

Claims Recruitment Services is recruiting for a Claims Handler - Motor & Third Party Property Damage (TPPD) on behalf of a leading specialist brand in the UK Insurance Market. Location: York/Leeds and Colchester/Essex. You will deliver high standards across a varied portfolio of Third Party Property Damage and Motor claims, handling referrals on policy coverage and strategy. You will manage end-to-end claims, coordinate with solicitors, brokers and clients.

Qualifications

• Experience handling Motor Claims with coverage focus.
• Pre-action protocols and civil litigation understanding.
• Experience with third party property damage claims.

Responsibilities

• Taking referrals on motor policy coverage and strategy.
• Managing a portfolio of third party property damage claims under PL policies up to £100k.
• Setting the claim strategy and engaging law firms when needed.
• Liaising with clients, brokers, claimants and representatives.
• Identifying fraudulent claims and opportunities for recovery.
• Taking referrals on coverage and reallocation to internal claims team.
