Job summary

Pen Underwriting UK is seeking a proactive Motor Claims Handler to join our specialist claims team. You’ll manage motor claims end-to-end across diverse caseloads, building strong customer relationships and taking ownership from first notification through to resolution.

The role offers hybrid working from Leatherhead with training, progression opportunities, and a focus on developing expertise in environmental and fuel-related claims alongside traditional motor claims.

Qualifications

• Experience handling motor claims throughout the full claims lifecycle (FNOL to resolution).
• Strong customer service and communication skills with clients, brokers and suppliers.
• Ability to manage a busy caseload in a fast paced environment.
• Proactive, enthusiastic approach and willingness to learn new claims areas.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of motor claims from FNOL through to settlement.
• Handle own damage, third party, credit hire and total loss claims.
• Manage credit hire, total loss and liability related claims.
• Build strong relationships with clients, customers, brokers and suppliers.
• Provide regular updates and guidance throughout the claims journey.
• Prioritise and manage a high volume caseload in a fast paced environment.
• Work across environmental and fuel related claims alongside traditional motor claims.
