Job summary

HF in Leeds seeks an experienced Paralegal/Litigation Executive/Solicitor to join the Motor Personal Injury team. You will run a litigated caseload of small claims, focusing on liability and vehicle damage, supporting a busy department.

The role involves drafting, negotiating and negotiating with insurers, and progression through internal training contracts and leadership pathways. A strong work ethic and collaborative team spirit are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience handling litigated claims, preferably defendant cases.
• Familiarity with CPR and the SRA Code of Conduct.
• Knowledge of motor insurance would be a huge plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet targets.

Responsibilities

• Draft documents, applications, offers, orders and directions.
• Attend telephone conferences and manage cases in line with SLAs.
• Review quantum and value general and special damages; formalise case plans.
• Enter into telephone negotiations; liaise with third-party solicitors and insurers.
• Coordinate with own insurer clients and lay clients.
