Job summary

Davies Group is seeking a Specialist Intermediate Track File Handler in Bolton to manage litigated motor claims for major insurers. You will handle cases within Part 7, draft and file documents, and advise on strategy under supervision of a Team Leader.

The role requires strong litigation knowledge, ability to meet deadlines, and clear client-facing communication in a fast-paced environment. Fixed-term full-time position in the Legal department.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 24 months experience of handling litigated claims, including Part 7 claims.
• Minimum of 12 months experience handling claims valued over £25,000.
• Sound knowledge of intermediate/multi-track RTA litigated files and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing files and adhering to client guidelines.
• Formulating initial and ongoing strategy with fee considerations.
• Drafting legal documents and complying with court deadlines.
• Managing spend and budgeting for claims, fixed fees or hourly rates.
• Liaising with clients, insurers and third-party solicitors.
• Undertaking court hearings and attending conferences as needed.
