Job summary

Keoghs in Bolton seeks a Specialist Intermediate Track File Handler to manage litigated motor injury claims for insurer clients, including the MIB. You will handle cases valued from £25,000 to £100,000 and contribute to case strategy and documentation.

You will work in a small team, review files, draft reports and court documents, and ensure deadlines are met while maintaining ISO guidelines. The role requires familiarity with Part 7, strong communication, and precise time recording; training

Qualifications

• Minimum of 24 months experience of handling litigated claims, including Part 7 claims.
• Minimum of 12 months experience of handling cases valued in excess of £25,000.
• Experience with Intermediate/Multi Track RTA litigated files and managing own caseload.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing files and abiding by Client Guidelines.
• Knowledge of Part 7 litigation, CPR Rules and Court procedures.
• Draft reports confirming Strategy and agree the approach with the client.
• Draft legal documents and comply with Court orders/deadlines.
• Undertaking negotiations and liaising with Insured, Insurers and Brokers.
• Ensuring tasks are delegated to paralegals and accurate time recording.
