Job summary

Davies in Bolton is seeking a Specialist Intermediate Track File Handler to manage litigated motor claims for major insurers, including the MIB. You will join a small team and report to the Team Leader, handling cases valued from £0 to £150,000 and files up to £100,000 as part of daily litigation workflow.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 24 months experience handling litigated claims, including Part 7.
• Experience handling cases valued in excess of £25,000 is desirable.
• Experience with indemnity matters and MIB involvement is beneficial.
• Strong client liaison, reporting and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Review files in line with client guidelines and SLA.
• Apply Part 7 litigation knowledge and CPR procedures.
• Draft strategy, reports, defences and court documents.
• Liaise with clients, insurers and brokers; manage budgets.
• Attend conferences, hearings and coordinate with counsel and experts.
• Record time and expenses; ensure ISO 9001 compliance.
• Delegate tasks to paralegals and supervise workflow.
