Job summary

Prima is seeking a Junior Bodily Injury Claims Handler in Manchester to join our UK Claims team. You’ll manage a caseload via the OIC portal, liaising with clients, claimants and third parties to progress cases through settlement or litigation.

You’ll review medical records, value damages and identify fraud or large loss flags. We value rigorous attention to detail, strong communication, and the ability to thrive in a growing, scale-up environment.

Qualifications

• Bodily injury claims handling experience required.
• OICP portal familiarity preferred.
• Knowledge of UK motor insurance principles and CPC rules is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage own caseload of OIC portal claims from instruction to settlement or litigation.
• Liaise with clients, claimants and third parties to progress cases efficiently.
• Handle indemnity, liability and quantum investigations and disputes.
• Review medical records and expert reports to value damages.
• Identify and refer fraudulent activity and underwriting concerns.
• Flag large losses and refer as needed.
• Progress cases proactively with technical expertise.
• Support a Team Leader.
