Job summary

Hawk Hiring in the Haywards Heath area is seeking an experienced MOT Tester & Vehicle Technician to run MOT tests during morning slots and manage servicing, MOT repairs, and maintenance tasks in the afternoons within a clean, modern workshop.

This role offers a true 4-day working week with 38 hours (Mon-Thu, 8:00–18:00, 30-min lunch) and a salary of £41,000 basic (£20.75/hr), plus a company pension and seasonal closures over Christmas and Bank Holidays.

Qualifications

• Valid MOT Smart Card (Active Class 4/7) is required.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Own hand tools.
• Proven background in vehicle servicing, MOT repairs, and mechanical work with diagnostic skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform MOT tests in morning slots.
• Carry out servicing, maintenance and MOT repairs in afternoons.
• Maintain safety, cleanliness and workshop standards.
