Job summary

Hawk Hiring LTD in the Lindfield/Haywards Heath area is seeking a Junior MOT & Servicing Mechanic to join a busy modern workshop. You will assist with MOT repair work, servicing, tyre fitting and brake replacement in a friendly team environment.

The role requires at least 6 months of garage experience, a full UK driving licence and a desire to train toward becoming a DVSA MOT tester. You’ll enjoy a 4-day week (Monday to Thursday) with Fridays off, plus bank holidays and Christmas closure.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of practical garage experience.
• Willing to train towards becoming a DVSA MOT Tester.
• Strong work ethic and good team player attitude.
• Full UK driving licence.

Role: Junior MOT & Servicing Mechanic (£33k Basic | 4-Day Week | Friday OFF)

Pay & Benefits

• Salary: £35,000
• Hours: 4-Day Working Week | 38 hrs/wk | Monday to Thursday, 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM (Friday OFF Every Week)

Role Overview

Seeking a Junior MOT & Servicing Mechanic with at least 6 months' hands-on garage experience to perform routine mechanical servicing and assist our lead MOT Testers with repair work in a modern workshop.

Requirements

• At least 6 months of practical garage experience handling basic repairs and servicing.
• Strong desire to train towards becoming a fully certified DVSA MOT Tester in the future.
• Solid work ethic and good team player attitude.
• Full UK driving licence.

• Base: Lindfield / Haywards Heath area
• Road Links: Direct access via the A272 and A275, with fast links to the A23 northbound to Crawley/M23 and southbound to Brighton.
