Kamro Limited T/A Tenex is recruiting an experienced MOT Tester or Vehicle Technician to join its Nottingham workshop. You will perform servicing, diagnostics and MOT tests where qualified, ensuring high-quality workmanship and customer service.

With at least four years' industry experience, you will work in a friendly team, follow DVSA guidelines, and have the opportunity to train for MOT testing if needed. Competitive salary and benefits in a well-established business.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 4 years in Vehicle Technician, MOT Tester or similar automotive role.
• Solid understanding of vehicle maintenance, servicing and repairs.
• Full UK driving licence.
• MOT Tester qualification desirable; training available for the right candidate.

Aufgaben

• Carry out vehicle servicing, routine maintenance and mechanical repairs to a high standard.
• Diagnose mechanical faults and identify issues using diagnostic equipment.
• Inspect vehicle components and systems, including brakes, suspension, steering and exhausts.
• Carry out MOT tests in accordance with DVSA regulations, where qualified.
• Identify vehicle defects and recommend repairs to ensure vehicles remain safe and roadworthy.
• Replace worn or damaged vehicle components using OE-matching parts.
• Ensure all work is completed efficiently, accurately and in line with manufacturer recommendations.
• Maintain accurate service records and documentation.
• Follow workshop health and safety procedures and maintain a clean, organised working environment.
• Work collaboratively with the team to deliver excellent customer service and maintain quality workmanship.

Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years' experience as a Vehicle Technician, Mechanic, MOT Tester or in a similar automotive role.
• Relevant automotive qualifications are preferred but not essential.
• A valid MOT Tester qualification is desirable for candidates applying as an MOT Tester, but training can be provided for the right candidate.
• A solid understanding of vehicle maintenance, servicing, diagnostics and mechanical repairs.
• A full, valid UK driving licence.
• A reliable, professional approach with strong attention to detail.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A commitment to high-quality workmanship and excellent customer service.

Working Hours

Vehicle Technician:Monday to Friday8:00 am – 5:00 pm

MOT Tester:Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pmEvery other Saturday, with additional hours paid as overtime.

Salary and Benefits

• £32,000 – £35,000 per annum
