Job summary

Hawk Hiring in Nottingham is seeking an MOT Tester / Vehicle Technician for a busy MOT and servicing centre. You will conduct Class 4 MOT tests, inspect brakes, suspension, tyres and emissions, and carry out repairs with hand and power tools.

A DVSA MOT Tester License and full UK driving licence are required. The role offers consistent weekly pay, a lively workshop, and on-site parking; you will maintain records and DVSA documentation while upholding high safety standards and customer

Qualifications

• Active MOT tester license required.
• Full UK driving licence required.
• Experience in high-volume MOT/service center preferred.
• Strong safety and emissions knowledge mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Conduct accurate Class 4 MOT tests across diverse makes and models in line with DVSA guidelines.
• Perform vehicle inspections focusing on brakes, suspension, lighting, tyres, exhausts and emissions.
• Utilise hand and power tools to carry out repairs or adjustments identified during testing.
• Maintain clear digital inspection records and ensure DVSA documentation is accurate.
