Octane Recruitment Ltd in Nottingham is seeking an experienced MOT Tester, MOT Technician or Class 4 Vehicle Tester. You must hold a valid DVSA Class 4 MOT Tester Licence and have at least 2 years of MOT testing experience in a busy garage or autocentre.

Location: Nottingham. Salary: Up to £35,000 basic with OTE up to £37,000 including bonus. Hours: Mon-Fri 8:30am–5:30pm, Saturdays on a rota. Permanent position with a pension, staff discounts, and other benefits.

Qualifications

• Valid DVSA Class 4 MOT Tester Licence.
• Minimum 2 years' experience as an MOT Tester, MOT Technician or Vehicle Tester.
• Previous experience within a busy garage or autocentre.
• Strong knowledge of DVSA MOT testing regulations.
• Good attention to detail and accurate record-keeping.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out Class 4 MOT testing in accordance with DVSA regulations.
• Complete vehicle inspections and identify defects.
• Accurately record MOT results and maintain compliance documentation.
• Identify and report vehicle repair and maintenance requirements.
• Explain MOT results and advisory items to customers.
• Support workshop operations when required.
• Maintain high standards of safety, quality and compliance.

We are recruiting for an experienced MOT Tester, MOT Technician or Class 4 Vehicle Tester to join an established independent autocentre group in Nottingham. Applicants must hold a valid DVSA Class 4 MOT Tester Licence, have at least 2 years' MOT testing experience within a busy garage or autocentre and possess a Full UK Driving Licence.

Location: Nottingham

Salary: Up to £35,000 Basic

OTE: Up to £37,000 Including Bonus

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am–5:30pm, Alternate Saturdays 8:30am–1pm
