Job summary

ACS Automotive in Bury St Edmunds is seeking an MOT Tester/Technician to join their workshop on a permanent full-time basis. You will carry out MOT tests and related service work, ensuring quality inspection controls and high standards.

The role requires a qualified MOT Tester with a Class 4/7 smart card, a full UK driving licence, and at least 2 years' MOT experience. Salary £35,000 to £45,000 plus bonus, depending on experience, with Monday–Friday hours and Saturday mornings on a rotation.

Qualifications

• Must be a qualified MOT Tester.

• Current Class 4/7 MOT Smart Card.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.30pm with alternate Saturdays 8.30am to 4pm (You get a day off in week for working the Saturday)

Our client has an exciting career opportunity to join their workshop as an MOT Tester/Technician. You will need to have previous experience as an MOT Tester within the motor trade and hold an MOT licence.

Duties & Responsibilities of an MOT Tester:

• Carrying out MOT testing and some service and repair work to excellent standards.
• Communicating with the Manager on test results and additional work necessary.
• Ensuring quality inspection controls are carried out.
• Maintaining thorough and up-to-date product knowledge.

Your Background & Skill:
