Job summary

ACS Automotive Recruitment is seeking an MOT Tester/Technician in Bury St Edmunds to perform MOT tests and related servicing. You will ensure quality checks and communicate results for any additional work required, while maintaining high service standards.

Ideal candidates hold a valid MOT qualification with Class 4/7 card, have at least 2 years of MOT experience, possess a full UK driving licence, and can work under pressure with good time management. A competitive salary is offered.

Qualifications

• Must be a qualified MOT Tester.
• Experience working as a MOT Tester (2 years minimum).
• Current Class 4/7 MOT Smart Card.
• A full UK Driving Licence.
• Good time management skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
• Passion for the automotive industry.

£35,000 to £45,000 depending on experience + Bonus.

Permanent/Full Time

Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.30pm with alternate Saturdays 8.30am to 4pm (You get a day off in week for working the Saturday)

Our client has an exciting career opportunity to join their workshop as an MOT Tester/Technician. You will need to have previous experience as an MOT Tester within the motor trade and hold an MOT licence.

Duties & Responsibilities of an MOT Tester:

• Carrying out MOT testing and some service and repair work to excellent standards.
• Communicating with the Manager on test results and additional work necessary.
• Ensuring quality inspection controls are carried out.
• Maintaining thorough and up-to-date product knowledge.
