Perfect Placement UK Ltd is seeking an experienced MOT Tester in Northwich to conduct MOT tests, inspections and routine servicing within a busy, professional workshop. The position offers a Monday–Friday schedule from 8:30am to 5:30pm, 32k salary, and opportunities for ongoing training within a reputable dealership environment.

Qualifications

• MOT accreditation or willingness to obtain.
• At least 3 years’ experience in a vehicle workshop.
• Full UK driving licence required.
• Good communication skills to explain issues clearly.

Responsibilities

• Conduct MOT tests in accordance with current regulations and standards.
• Carry out vehicle inspections and accurately identify faults.
• Perform routine servicing, mechanical repairs and component replacements.
• Complete Vehicle Health Checks to ensure ongoing safety and compliance.
• Work independently in a busy workshop while maintaining safety, quality and efficiency.
• Document and update vehicle records accurately.

Requirements of the MOT Tester:

• MOT accreditation or a strong willingness to obtain this qualification
• At least 3 years’ experience working within a vehicle workshop environment
• Full UK driving licence
• Good communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues clearly
• Honest, with high levels of integrity and professionalism as the MOT Tester
