Job summary

Group 1 Automotive is seeking an MOT Tester for our JLR Sidcup site. You will perform MOT testing and vehicle servicing to high standards, while liaising with Service Reception and Workshop Control to communicate results and additional work required.

We value thorough inspection practices and up-to-date knowledge, with a focus on customer service and teamwork. Group 1 supports training and development, generous leave, and a share in our success.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance.
• Previous experience as an MOT Tester.
• Thorough and meticulous with attention to detail.
• Efficient and flexible, able to adapt to workloads.
• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining quality.
• Customer and quality awareness in service delivery.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills with colleagues.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out MOT service and repair of vehicles to excellent standards.
• Communicating with the Service Reception team and Workshop Control on test result and additional work necessary.
• Ensure quality inspection controls are carried out.
• Maintaining thorough and up-to-date product knowledge.
• Maintaining exceptionally high customer service levels that lead to customer loyalty and referrals.
• Maintaining good housekeeping standards and orderly administration of your work.
