Job summary

Igloo is recruiting a qualified MOT Tester for a busy automotive workshop in Corby. You will perform MOT tests, inspections and repairs to ensure vehicles meet safety and quality standards. The role includes road/ramp testing, diagnostics, and supporting junior technicians.

You will work with a skilled team and follow company procedures, with weekly pay and a company pension. Free onsite parking is available, and recruitment/payroll support is provided by Igloo.

Qualifications

• Must hold City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Mechanics.
• Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician or Mechanic.
• Full UK driving licence is required.

Responsibilities

What We’re Looking For:

• City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Mechanics - essential.
• Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician or Mechanic.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Ability to diagnose faults, including electrical issues where required.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Willingness to support junior technicians when needed.
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
