Job summary

Igloo Ltd is looking for an experienced MOT Inspector to join a busy automotive operation in Grimsby. You will carry out MOT tests, conduct road tests, and ensure vehicles are prepared to a high standard for customer delivery. You will complete job cards accurately and support workshop duties as part of a skilled team.

Ideal candidates will hold an MOT Tester qualification, NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair, and a full UK driving licence with <=6 points. You should have strong diagnostic ability and be able to work independently while contributing to a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Qualified MOT Tester (essential).
• NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a Vehicle Technician / Mechanic role.
• Full UK Driving Licence (no more than 6 points).
• Strong diagnostic ability with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and make decisions when required.
• Team player, willing to share knowledge with junior technicians.
• Positive attitude and high workmanship standards.
