Perfect Placement UK Ltd is recruiting an MOT Technician for a reputable family-owned automotive group in Caterham, Surrey. You will conduct MOT inspections across various makes and models, ensuring compliance with safety and roadworthiness standards while delivering excellent customer service.

This full-time role offers Monday to Friday hours 08:30–17:30 with Saturday rotsa on a rota, potential for progression, ongoing training, and a supportive team environment in a busy independent workshop.

Qualifications

• MOT testing and vehicle inspection experience.

• Support the team with light servicing or additional automotive tasks when required
• Work efficiently to ensure timely vehicle turnaround while maintaining high standards of quality and safety
• Valid MOT test licence is essential
• A clean driving licence is advantageous
• Proven experience working on multiple makes and models of cars and vans
• Background in fast-fit or similar automotive environments is preferred
• Strong customer service skills with an ability to communicate effectively
• Ability to work independently while maintaining high attention to detail
• Flexibility and a proactive approach to supporting the team and meeting deadlines
