Perfect Placement UK Ltd in Portsmouth is seeking an experienced MOT Technician to join a well-established automotive group. You will maintain high standards across servicing, repairs, and MOT testing in a modern workshop, contributing to quality service and customer satisfaction.

The role offers a competitive salary up to £37,000 with uncapped bonuses pushing earnings beyond £40,000. Monday to Friday 8:30am–5:00pm, 30 days holiday, health schemes, training, and long-service rewards.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in Vehicle Mechanical or Repair.
• Proven MOT Technician experience.
• Strong diagnostic and repair skills across various vehicle types.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Full UK driving licence, ideally with a clean record.
• MOT testing experience (training can be provided to the right individual).

Responsibilities

• Conduct vehicle servicing, repairs, and maintenance to a high standard.
• Perform diagnostics and fault-finding on a range of vehicle makes and models.
• Complete work within specified timeframes and ensure quality standards are met.
• Accurately record all work carried out in company systems.
• Participate in manufacturer training to maintain technical proficiency.
• Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations.
• Conduct MOT testing in accordance with DVSA standards.

• Competitive basic salary up to £37,000, with potential OTE exceeding £40,000 through uncapped bonus structure


• Monday to Friday working hours, 8:30am - 5:00pm, with weekends off
