Job summary

Perfect Placement is recruiting on behalf of our client, a reputable automotive service centre and tyre retailer with multiple centres across the UK, for a MOT Technician to join their busy Swansea location.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician and MOT Tester.
• MOT licence is essential.
• Valid UK driving licence with minimal points.
• Ability to produce high-quality workmanship under deadlines.
• Friendly and approachable with strong communication skills.
• Reside within reasonable commuting distance of Swansea.
• Appropriate technical qualifications gained through employment or an apprenticeship.

Responsibilities

• Carry out MOT tests in compliance with standards.
• Diagnose vehicle faults and perform service/repair work.
• Support workshop operations to ensure efficient workflow.
• Provide high-quality work within designated timescales.
• Assist at front reception with customer enquiries when required.

We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a reputable automotive service centre and tyre retailer with multiple centres across the UK, for a MOT Technician to join their busy Swansea location. This is an excellentMOT Technician opportunity for a skilled professional seeking stable employment within a friendly workshop environment.

Benefits

• Starting salary approximately £32,640 per annum, negotiable based on experience
• Monthly performance-related bonuses, averaging £3,600 annually
• 32 days' annual leave including bank holidays, plus a day off for your birthday

Duties of a MOT Technician

• Carrying out MOT tests in compliance with Ministry standards
• Diagnosing vehicle faults and executing relevant service and repair work
• Supporting workshop operations as needed to ensure efficient workflowProviding high-quality work within designated timescales
• Offering assistance at the front reception desk with customer enquiries when required
• Maintaining excellent customer service standards at all times

Requirements of a MOT Technician

• Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician and MOT Tester
• MOT licence is essential
• Valid UK driving licence with minimal points
• Ability to produce high-quality workmanship within tight deadlines
• Friendly and approachable demeanour, with strong communication skills
