Job summary

Micheldever Group is seeking an MOT Technician for Protyre Autocare in the UK. The role involves conducting MOT tests, providing mechanical servicing, and carrying out fast-fit operations including tyre fitting and brake/exhaust work.

You will join a fast-growing automotive team with extensive training and career development opportunities. The ideal candidate holds a valid MOT licence and a full UK driving licence, with a track record in mechanical repairs.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence held for at least 6 months.
• Valid MOT Licence.
• Experience in mechanical and fast-fit repairs.
• Able to fit brakes, exhausts and tyres.

Essential: Full Clean UK Driving Licence, held for at least 6 months (age restrictions may apply – points or offences may affect your application)

Valid MOT Licence

About the role:

Ensuring the work completed on each vehicle is carried out safely and to a high standard

Carry out MOT testing in accordance with DVSA testing requirements

General servicing and repairs, including fitting brakes, exhausts, and other mechanical products.

Fast Fit Tyre fitting whilst being able to use an alignment machine and understand the reading and relevant adjustments

Working in a safe manner and always comply with health & safety regulations

Ensure a high standard of personal presentation including always wearing correct company uniform.

Conduct any reasonable request / tasks as deemed necessary by the management team.

About you:

A valid MOT Licence

You will have experience in mechanical and fast fit repairs which may include tyre fitting, exhausts, brakes, suspension, general servicing and repairs to a wide range of vehicles

Full UK Driving Licence
