Perfect Placement UK Ltd are representing a reputable independent fleet repair specialist in Gloucester who are seeking an experienced MOT Technician to join their modern, well-equipped workshop.

This position offers a competitive salary up to £40,000 dependent on experience, with hours 8:00am-5:30pm, Monday to Friday, no weekend work, and a benefits package including pension, 28 days holiday with your birthday off, gym membership, and staff discounts.

Qualifications

• IMI/NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair.
• At least 1-2 years' practical experience as a Vehicle Technician.
• Valid MOT license, preferably with Class 4, 5, and 7 qualifications.
• Clean UK driving license.
• Motivated, team-oriented attitude.
• Experience with fleet repairs, welding, or fabrication is advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Diagnosing, repairing, and servicing a variety of light commercial and retail vehicles.
• Preparing vehicles for MOT tests and conducting class 4, 5, and 7 MOT inspections.
• Performing MOT repairs and rectifications.
• Conducting technical diagnostics using specialist equipment.
• Completing all relevant vehicle records and documentation.
• Responding to vehicle breakdowns promptly.
• Carrying out cambelt and clutch replacements where necessary.
