Job summary

Hartwell Motor Group is seeking a Service Technician to join the Oxford operation at Oxford Motor Park in Kidlington, representing Ford and BYD with a strong multi franchise used car operation. You will report to the Service Manager and ensure standards for both franchise and company are met in a busy dealership environment.

Ideal candidates will hold NVQ Level 3 or equivalent and have experience in a franchise dealership, with MOT Tester status preferred.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent is required.
• Excellent customer service skills are expected.
• Take responsibility for the quality and quantity of work performed.

Responsibilities

• Undertake maintenance, service and repair activities on motor vehicles to high standards within scheduled times.
• Repair, test vehicles and diagnose faults as directed by the Service Manager.
• Replace components, parts, lubricants and consumables and record usage.
• Keep work areas clean, tidy, and safe from hazards.
• Complete work within manufacturers' servicing and repair times and report on servicing/repair requirements.
