Job summary

Coventry City Council is seeking a MOSAIC BI & Insight Analyst / Data Analyst to support Performance and Planning. This role focuses on extracting, analysing and reporting on data from MOSAIC and social care systems, delivering Power BI dashboards to inform decisions.

The candidate will work with Adult and/or Children’s Social Care data, validate outputs, and collaborate with developers and stakeholders to implement improvements within a short-term contract, hybrid in Coventry.

Qualifications

• Hands-on MOSAIC experience essential for data extraction and reporting.
• Strong SQL skills for querying, joining and manipulating datasets.

Responsibilities

• Extract, analyse and interpret data from MOSAIC and other social care systems.
• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports and visualisations.
• Use SQL to query, combine and manipulate datasets for reporting and analysis.
• Produce statutory, financial, operational and performance reports.
• Work with Adult and/or Children’s Social Care datasets to identify trends and performance.
• Improve existing reports and reporting solutions.
• Validate data and ensure accuracy of reporting outputs.
• Collaborate with managers, developers and stakeholders to define requirements.
• Present findings to support operational and strategic decisions.
• Maintain data security and information governance standards.
