Job summary

Civic Recruitment Limited in Coventry is recruiting a BI & Insight Analyst on a 2‑month contract to support data migration to a Data Lake and deliver BI reporting.

You will extract, cleanse and analyse data, develop Power BI dashboards, and collaborate with HR, Digital Services and other stakeholders to provide actionable insights and robust management information.

Experience with Data Warehouse/Data Lake, ETL and governance is desirable; basic DBS may be required.

Responsibilities

• Support the migration of data from existing data warehouse environments into a new Data Lake platform.
• Extract, validate, cleanse and analyse data from multiple sources.
• Ensure data quality, consistency and integrity throughout the migration process.
• Develop, maintain and enhance Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions.
• Produce performance reports, management information and analytical insights.

2 Month Contract With A local Authority

Job Purpose

To support the delivery of business intelligence, reporting and data transformation initiatives across the Council, playing a key role in the migration of data from the existing Data Warehouse environment into a new Data Lake platform.

The postholder will be responsible for data extraction, cleansing, validation, analysis and reporting, ensuring the integrity, quality and accuracy of information throughout the migration process. Working closely with Digital Services, HR Services and wider stakeholders, the role will develop meaningful business intelligence solutions that support evidence-based decision making and organisational performance.
