Job summary

Southwark Council is seeking an Intelligence & Impact Analyst to deliver evidence-based decision making through advanced data analysis and BI reporting. You will build Power BI dashboards, automate reporting, and provide insights to support service improvement.

The role is a 3-month contract in London with hybrid working and a 36-hour week. Ideal candidates will have strong Power BI experience (DAX) and a track record in the Microsoft Power Platform, plus excellent stakeholder management in

Qualifications

• Significant experience as a Data/Intelligence/Insight/Performance or BI Analyst.
• Advanced Power BI experience including Reporting Automation and DAX.
• Experience using Microsoft Power Platform.
• Experience developing automated workflows with Power Automate.
• Experience gathering and documenting business requirements.
• Experience working with service managers and stakeholders.
• Experience analysing large and complex datasets.
• Experience producing performance reports and management information.
• Ability to present complex information clearly and manage stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead analytical and intelligence activities across assigned service areas.
• Analyse large datasets to identify trends, risks, and performance outcomes.
• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and visualisations.
• Build data models and reporting frameworks.
• Design automated reporting processes using Power Automate.
• Gather, document, and translate business requirements into reporting solutions.
• Deliver high-quality reports and management information products.
