Job summary

Stonebridge Mortgage Solutions Ltd. is seeking an Associate (Mortgage Quality and Compliance Adviser) to join the Business Standards team.

You’ll review mortgage and protection workflows, ensuring alignment with internal and FCA standards and delivering high-quality guidance to advisers. Ideal candidates will have experience in mortgage administration, compliance or adviser support, with strong attention to detail and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Experience in mortgage and protection administration, compliance, quality assurance, or adviser support.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proactive, organised approach with excellent attention to detail.
• Able to satisfy the pre-employment screening: code of conduct, right to work, identity, 5 years referencing, AML, credit screen, financial sanctions and DBS checks.

Responsibilities

• Review mortgage and insurance case files against internal and FCA standards.
• Conduct 1-2-1 reviews and performance observations with advisers.
• Provide clear, constructive feedback and guidance by phone and email.
• Review promotional materials and adviser CPD records to ensure compliance.
• Maintain accurate internal records and management information.

• Experience within mortgage, protection, financial services, or quality assurance, ideally in compliance or adviser support.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
