Job summary

Cotswold Financial Solutions Ltd, a Partner Practice of St. James's Place Wealth Management, is seeking a qualified Mortgage & Protection Adviser to join its growing team in Chipping Norton, Oxfordshire.

The role offers flexible/remote working and a choice of employed or self-employed arrangements. You will provide professional, compliant mortgage and protection advice, manage cases from enquiry to completion, and build long-term client relationships while keeping up to date with lender criteria

Qualifications

• CeMAP 1, 2 and 3, Cert CII (MP), or equivalent mortgage qualification.
• Experience providing regulated mortgage advice.
• Experience providing protection advice alongside mortgage recommendations.
• Sound understanding of mortgage products, lender criteria and regulatory environment.

Responsibilities

• Providing mortgage and protection advice tailored to individual client needs.
• Completing fact-finds, affordability assessments and appropriate product research.
• Managing mortgage and protection applications through to completion.
• Maintaining accurate client records and compliant file notes.
• Liaising with lenders, providers, solicitors, estate agents and other professionals.
