Job summary

Maxwell Mortgage Services is expanding and seeking motivated Mortgage & Protection Advisers to join the team. This is a self-employed opportunity based remotely with occasional meetings near Folkestone, offering the freedom to build your own client bank while benefiting from an established mortgage brokerage.

You will provide high-quality mortgage and protection advice, nurture long‑term client relationships, generate new business through networking and referrals, and manage cases from enquiry

Qualifications

• Mortgage and/or financial services industry experience.
• Advising experience preferred, although candidates with significant industry exposure will also be considered.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Self-motivated and entrepreneurial mindset.
• Ability to generate business through networking, referrals or existing relationships.
• Commitment to delivering excellent customer outcomes.
• Good understanding of mortgage and protection advice requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality mortgage and protection advice tailored to client needs.
• Build and maintain long-term client relationships.
• Generate new business opportunities through self-sourced activity and referrals.
• Manage client cases efficiently from enquiry through to completion.
