Job summary

Skillful in the United Kingdom is seeking a pricing specialist across mortgage brands, with hybrid working arrangements (2 days in the office) in Wolverhampton or Chatham. You will own pricing for residential, buy-to-let and commercial loans and influence market positioning and pricing strategy.

You will lead pricing changes from proposal to launch, and collaborate with Marketing, Sales, and Product Development to get pricing right. A proactive, data-driven mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in mortgage pricing
• Cross-departmental collaboration to deliver product launches
• Strong product data analysis and market competitor analysis skills
• Experience taking pricing from inception through sign off
• Solid Excel skills and understanding of UK mortgage market and regulation

Responsibilities

• Review market positioning on rate and criteria against the peer group and flag where the business needs to move
• Own pricing of complex, larger loan cases and decide on structure
• Lead pricing changes from proposal through to sign off and market launch with Marketing, Sales, Key Accounts and New Product Development
• Produce analyses that sit behind pricing papers and strategic recommendations
• Support the wider proposition for new business and retaining existing customers
• Coach assistant PMs and product analysts in the team
