Job summary

Regional Recruitment Services is seeking an experienced Mortgage Advisor to join a dedicated property and financial services team covering Kent. You will guide clients through the mortgage process, from initial enquiry to completion, delivering tailored solutions and ensuring regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate holds a CeMAP or equivalent, has strong knowledge of the residential mortgage market, and is confident working toward targets while maintaining excellent client relationships.

Qualifications

• CeMAP or equivalent mortgage advisory qualification.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Knowledge of the residential mortgage market.
• Ability to assess affordability and lender criteria.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed client fact-finds to understand finances.
• Provide tailored mortgage advice based on client needs.
• Assess affordability and review financial positions.
• Research and recommend suitable mortgage products.
• Manage applications from initial advice to completion.
• Liaise with lenders, estate agents, solicitors and stakeholders.
• Keep clients updated throughout the mortgage process.
• Identify protection and insurance opportunities.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Follow up leads and maximise conversion opportunities.
• Work toward sales targets and maintain compliant files.
• Ensure all advice complies with FCA requirements.
• Keep up to date with market and lender criteria.
