Job summary

William H Brown in Stevenage is growing its mortgage team and we're looking for a motivated Trainee Mortgage & Protection Advisor to join us as we welcome a second consultant to the branch. This is a great opportunity to take your first steps into mortgage advice, build your confidence and develop your skills with the support of an established Estate Agency team.

Qualifications

• Full CeMAP qualification or equivalent.
• Willingness to learn and develop in mortgage advice.
• Ability to build relationships with clients and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with the Estate Agency team to develop referral opportunities.
• Learn to provide tailored mortgage and protection advice to meet customers' individual needs.
• Support customers throughout their mortgage journey, from application through to completion.
• Develop customer relationships and maximise opportunities to grow the business.
• Deliver excellent customer service while working towards targets and building earning potential.

What are we looking for?

• Full CeMAP qualification or equivalent.
• Someone ready to take their first step into a career in mortgage advice, or with some initial experience looking to develop further.
• A confident communicator who enjoys helping people and building relationships.
• A positive, proactive approach and a willingness to learn.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
