Gi Group Holdings Recruitment Limited is seeking a transport administrator for a morning shift in Daventry. This temp-to-perm role offers a £14.10 per hour rate and a £27,495 per annum equivalent on a full-time basis.

The position runs Monday to Friday, 06:00–14:00, on site. Key duties include overseeing afternoon transport planning, driver dispatch and debrief, paperwork completion, tachograph compliance, mileage investigations, and fleet maintenance coordination.

Formación

• High performer who regularly meets KPI targets.
• Good working knowledge of transport and logistics.
• Reliable with high attendance and timekeeping.
• Assists with general duties within the transport function.
• Good communicator.
• Able to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
• Computer literate; experience of WMS systems and MS Office.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee afternoon transport planning and allocate work to drivers.
• Dispatch and debrief drivers per policy and ensure paperwork is filed.
• Maintain depot compliance on tachograph system and sign off infringements.
• Investigate missing mileage and manage breakdowns/defects promptly.
• Ensure walkarounds, deck and system checks are completed.
• Manage fleet servicing, MOTs, and update tracking tools.
• Ensure inbound/outbound freight is allocated and held properly.
• Monitor staff timekeeping, appearance and PPE compliance.
• Ensure drivers complete workloads in line with H&S and operations.
