Job summary

Millwood Primary Special School in Greater Manchester is seeking a hardworking and dynamic caretaker to join the site team and cleaners. The role focuses on cleaning, maintenance and upkeep of our modern building to keep it safe, clean and ready for learning.

The post is 37 hours per week with morning shifts and some flexibility; it includes safeguarding responsibilities, a DBS check, and health clearance as part of the selection process.

Responsibilities

• Proactively provide cleaning, maintenance and upkeep of the school building to keep it safe, clean and fit for learning.
• Work alongside the site team and cleaners to support daily operations and minor repairs as needed.
• Adhere to safeguarding policies and ensure compliance with health and safety requirements.
