Job summary

Provide Education & Teachers UK is seeking a School Caretaker to work across partnered Mansfield-area schools on a temporary ongoing basis. The role requires an Enhanced DBS or willingness to obtain one, and features split shifts (AM/PM) with responsibilities for maintenance, cleaning, and site security.

Ideal candidates have prior caretaking or maintenance experience, basic repair knowledge, and an understanding of health and safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Enhanced DBS clearance required or willingness to obtain one.
• Experience in caretaking, maintenance or similar role.
• Basic knowledge of building maintenance and repair.
• Understanding of health and safety regulations.
• Willing to perform cleaning and split shifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs across school sites.
• Ensure facilities and equipment are in good working order.
• Ensure the security of the buildings and grounds, including locking the premises.
• Conduct regular security checks and address issues promptly.
