Job summary

CCRES Educational and Behavioral Health Services seeks a Mental Health Specialist (MHS) for the ATTEND program in Reading. This independent contractor role provides early-morning in-home services to help a student transition from home to school, Monday through Friday.

You will deliver one hour of direct support before school, with potential extension over weeks or months, and may require transportation between the client’s home and school. A Master’s degree in a mental health field is required.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in mental health or related field from an accredited university.
• 6 months of clinical therapy experience (preferred).
• Training in positive behavior supports, team coordination, agency collaboration, and applied/cognitive behavioral counseling.

Responsibilities

• Mon–Fri, 1 hour/day, early morning, in-home services before school to help transition from home to school day.
• Extended period of weeks or months of services.
• Work with school-aged students with emotional or behavioral needs.
• Transportation from the client’s home to school may be required.
• No services if there is no school.
• Transfer coping skills and interventions to parent/caregiver.
