Job summary

Holcomb Behavioral Health Systems in Exton, PA is hiring a Peer Support Specialist to help individuals build stability, wellness, and connections. You will use lived experience to provide empathy, guidance, and encouragement and collaborate with clinicians and community providers.

The role offers full-time hours, pay rate $18.00+ per hour, benefits including medical/dental/vision, tuition reimbursement, flexible spending accounts, PTO, and a path to professional development.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Associate’s Degree in a human services‑related field.
• 1 year of experience in a human services‑related field.
• Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.
• PA Criminal Clearance
• PA Child Abuse Clearance (if applicable)
• Valid Driver’s License
• Not listed on any Medicaid/Medicare Exclusion lists

Responsibilities

• Provides peer support using lived experience to help others feel understood and hopeful.
• Offers practical guidance on coping strategies and navigating services.
• Supports recovery goals related to stability, wellness, employment/education, or community connection.
• Builds trusting, nonjudgmental relationships and encourages self-advocacy.
• Works with clinicians and community providers to promote coordinated, person-centered care.
• Helps reduce isolation by connecting people to groups and resources.
