Job summary

James Hall & Co. Ltd. is recruiting a permanent Kitchen Porter for the Kettle House in Preston. You will wash pots, pans and kitchenware, operate the dishwasher and help keep the work areas clean and hygienic.

The role is 30 hours per week, Monday to Thursday 7.00am–2.30pm. You will support the kitchen team, follow hygiene and safety procedures, and complete mandatory training to ensure smooth service for staff and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Wash pots, pans, utensils, crockery and kitchen equipment.
• Operate the commercial dishwasher and pot-washing equipment.
• Keep the pot-wash and kitchen areas clean, tidy and hygienic.
• Ensure clean equipment is returned to the correct storage areas.
• Support the kitchen team with general cleaning and housekeeping duties.
• Follow food hygiene, health & safety, COSHH and company procedures.
• Complete relevant company training.
