Job summary

Thomas Franks Ltd in Ascot is hiring a Kitchen Porter to join a busy kitchen team. You will help keep the kitchen clean, support chefs with prep, and ensure equipment is clean and functioning. This full-time, weekday role offers a stable 40-hour week and competitive pay.

Applicants should be reliable with good English, and prior pot wash or catering experience is a plus. DBS checks and safeguarding are part of our process.

Qualifications

• Kitchen Porter experience is preferred, but not essential.
• Organisational skills.
• Ability to demonstrate reasonable/good understanding and use of verbal English.
• Ability to demonstrate reasonable/good standard of written English and reading skills.
• Experience in customer and/or food preparation environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Keep kitchen hygienic and safe to high standards.
• Assist chefs with some food preparation.
• Clean and maintain all kitchen equipment.
• Operate industrial dishwasher.
• Support team with general kitchen duties.
