Job summary

Ayrshire Independent Living Network is seeking a casual Personal Assistant/Support Worker to assist a young woman in her own home in Priestland. The role involves morning support and flexible hours arranged by interview.

You will help with personal care, showering, hair washing, dressing, bed making, meal prep and fluids, plus assist with mobility. 2 references and PVG disclosure required; training in moving & handling provided if needed.

Qualifications

• Experience of support work preferred as well as knowledge of MS & Diabetes.
• Moving & Handling training required.
• Successful applicants will have to provide 2 references (one of which must be your current or most recent employer) and undergo a New PVG Disclosure at the employers cost.

Responsibilities

• Support the employer with personal care in the mornings, including showering, hair washing, and footwear assistance.
• Assist with making beds, meal preparation and fluids, and opening tins/jars/bottles as needed.
• Work as part of a team of Personal Assistants to support daily living in the home, Monday to Friday.
• Hours are flexible with earliest start 8:00am and latest 12:00pm.
