Job summary

Ayrshire Independent Living Network is seeking a Personal Assistant / Support Worker to cover holidays and sickness on a casual basis. You will support a lady in her own home, with flexible hours usually between 12:00 and 16:00, up to 17.75 hours per week.

A small team provides daily personal care including bathing, dressing and meal prep. Experience in support work is preferred; epilepsy awareness training can be arranged if needed.

Qualifications

• Experience of support work preferred as well as knowledge of Epilepsy (awareness training required – this can be arranged by the employer if not already in place).

Responsibilities

• Provide support with personal care including showering, hair washing, continence care, dressing, medication, meal preparation and bed changing.
• Support a lady in her own home as part of a small team of Personal Assistants, Monday to Sunday, with flexible hours (earliest start 12pm, latest finish 4pm).
