Job summary

Ayrshire Independent Living Network is seeking a PT Personal Assistant/Support Worker to support a male client in Irvine. The role is casual hours with weekend shifts, providing social, household, and general support as part of a small team.

Responsibilities include attending social activities, preparing meals, managing household tasks, shopping, appointments, and caring for the client's cat. PVG checks and references are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in a caring role is advantageous but not essential.
• Good swimming ability is required.
• Good team-working skills and professionalism.
• Willingness to undergo PVG checks and provide references.

Responsibilities

• Social support: accompany to swimming pool and other social events.
• Household tasks: cook meals, clean, laundry, bedding, and fridge management.
• General tasks: shopping, appointments, light maintenance, and reporting repairs.
• Pet care: feed the cat and clean its litter tray.
